Implementation of advances process in traditional ceramics
Traditional industrialized ceramics employ advanced production processes that are open to the incorporation of functionalities. The biggest challenge continues to be the scaling of nanotechnological materials and their production in an industrial plant. The strong impact of this research in national and international companies motivates this line of research that includes the following actions:
- Obtaining functionalities in industrial ceramic materials.
- Valorization of secondary raw materials.
- Recycling of demolition products.
- Scaling of processes involving nanotechnologies and/or recycled materials to industrial regulations.
